Check if device supports eSIM
- Enter "*#06#" in the basic phone app, and if eSIM IMEI or EID starting with "89" is displayed, it is a device that can install and use eSIM
- Even if you can scan the QR code, you cannot use it if the device is not SIM unlocked (unlocked). Please check the device unlock status with the manufacturer or your contracted carrier.
Accurate email address input required
- Accurate email address input is required. If you don't receive the email, please check the spam folder or promotion tab.
QR code scanning and restart
- Use the QR code scanner in the device settings menu under Wi-Fi environment, read the QR code, then restart the device.
- If scanned overseas, the 010 number will not be displayed on the device, but will be reflected after arriving in Korea.
Online usage registration (optional)
- If you need 010 number/voice calls/SMS functions, please register your foreign passport at https://skroaming.com/passport/. (Korean passports cannot be used)
- Additional charging for outgoing functions is possible online at https://www.skroaming.com/reservation/charging.
- First, please check if your device is SIM unlocked and supports eSIM.
- After deleting unused existing USIM or eSIM profiles, restart the device.
※ Please be careful not to delete the purchased eSIM! - If Profile or VPN items exist in Settings > General, delete them and restart.
- Settings > Mobile Communications > Select eSIM > Select "Manual-SKT" in the network selection screen and restart.
